Has anyone heard anything about the 34th games?

NewCath will be one of the two representatives from the 36th District. The other will either be Highlands or Bellevue.

 

Not sure about the other district.

Dixie and Lloyd will play for the championship in the 34th. Lloyd beat Ludlow 5-2, and Dixie beat Villa 4-2.

Wasn't a guarantee at all. Very well played game by both Villa and Dixie. A few plays go differently and Villa is in the regional. Nichols brought his "A" game with 18 strikeouts, but Villa touched him up in the 4th and 5th innings. Dixie scored 2 in the bottom of the fifth and held on.

I don't know who will be on which sides of which bracket, but I'd say the two best teams are CovCath and Beechwood by a stretch.

I'd agree that if those two are playing their best they will be hard to beat, but if anyone is off their game a lot of these other teams could come in and walk away with a regional championship.

It is definitely going to be some fun times next week at Champion Window Field. I'll be there for the entire tournament......who else will be going?

Yes from what I understand! With the weathermen calling for temps in the low 80's and gas at the price of what it is, I think you will see record crowds at Champion Window for Monday's game.
