Owen closed the gap and tied it with about two minutes left but Grant pulled away witha couple of nice offensive possessions and good defense. Grant County made some big shots, and was able to run some clock late. Good win for the new Head Coach Darrell Guffey. Congrats to the Braves!!!

Heard Owen was without 3 players including starting point guard Kendal Cochran. Any word on this or why they did not play?

Heard Cochran was ill & did not play. There might have been another player out, but Cochran for sure. Grant's point guard played but also had a stomach bug. Was ill before, at halftime & after the game. Tried to say it was nerves, but she was still ill this morning. Hope the rest of the 8th doesn't come down with this stuff!
