Lone Oak quarterback Corey Robinson breaks the KHSAA single season touchdown passing record. He tossed 8 touchdown passes against Heath to give him a total of 67 for the year. Lexington Catholic's Justin Burke had previously held the record with 62 TD's for a single season.

Congrats to this young man. The SYSTEM has been good for him. Who will they have to face in the playoffs?

Wow, what a career he has had...His parents need to take Billy Jack Haskins out to dinner...Yes, that Billy Jack noticed in practice that Robinson a WR at the time had a good arm, suggested to dad, Coach Jask Haskins and that notice led to Robinson's switch to QB. I see a nice football scholly ahead!

While they are buying those steaks they need to buy daddy Jack Haskins one. Coach Haskins switched his entire offense to take advange of Billy Jack's find.

That's 6.7 TD passes per game. I didn't even get in 6.7 plays per game in high school.

Some teams don't throw 6.7 passes a game. His best recievers must have some huge numbers also.

Jack Haskins was running the run-and-shoot with Pookie Jones at Calloway County in the late 80s and the offense that Billy Jack Haskins played in at Paducah Tilghman was very balanced.

 

Lone Oak isn't real balanced ... they throw the ball about 80-90 percent of the time.

Also, Lone Oak is 10-0 and have scored 542pts, while allowing only 109pts, makes it an even more special year.
