October 28, 200718 yr You should really be rooting for UK to win out. It would make the Cards loss to them not so unseemly. Oh and might help their ratings.:thumb: UofL isn't going to be in the rankings for the rest of the year, so that would be pointless....
October 28, 200718 yr UofL isn't going to be in the rankings for the rest of the year, so that would be pointless.... Your right. I didn't really think there was any way you were going to be pulling for UK. Aren't the Cards somehow still in the B-East chase. I know the leaders keep losing, but I haven't been paying close attention.
October 28, 200718 yr I just love your optimism after one bad game. The 18% is slowly, but surely making it's way over to the football team. I don't know what '18%' means, but just being real -- it's a tough three games they still have to play and after today's exhibition of football frutality it will be three loooooooooong games.
October 28, 200718 yr I agree that UK did not play very well yesterday, but ANYBODY (and I mean ANYBODY) can pull an upset in the SEC East this year (as has been shown numerous times-for example Miss St. also beat Auburn this year). UK played horrible against South Carolina also and bounced back to beat LSU and play Florida tough. I still believe that UK can win the last three. Will it be tough - no question! Can it be done - Sure (we beat LSU when no one thought we could). If people jump ship now, they are not a UK fan IMO (even if they say they have been one for 30 years) This loss and the bye week may shift the CATS up a notch as we come down the stretch. I say stay positive and keep the faith. I'm not quite ready to start the basketball season.
October 28, 200718 yr UK could not stop them . UK lucky to get to 14 yesterday. I don't see how they did.
October 28, 200718 yr If you don't think a week off helps and injuries hurt a teams chances just look at Florida yesterday. The week off contributed to their win over UK and an injury to Tebow pretty much cost them a game yesterday. I don't think it's making excuses. UK is not yet deep enough to go to their 5th string running back, and 3 or 4 deep in the defensive secondary and be able to win in the SEC. Everyone is right I don't remember injuries on the offensive line yesterday and they got manhandled. Between injuries and being mentally drained you could see this one coming, although it was worse than I expected.
October 28, 200718 yr While it had zero bearing on the game, UK still needs a reliable kicker. The young man is NOT getting it done.
October 28, 200718 yr The SEC is thje toughest conference week in and week out to play in. I am not blaming let down from previous two weeks. What I like is everyone is saying UK played bad....Which is true. They will bounce back.. which is true again. I think the are capable of ending 3-0 done the stretch if they can get healthy. But did anyone not think about this..... MSU practices everyday and just maybe they are on the verge of getting things fixed down there in Starkville. It's the SEC not popwarner.........
October 29, 200718 yr I think this team has had a heck of a couple weeks, and anyone who thinks that the injuries to KEY players does not make a difference in a game is just blinded by hate for UK. The SEC is tough and no one should have expected any less physical a game. This team has shown its strength this season, and I BELIEVE they will bounce back.
October 29, 200718 yr UK had 6 turnovers, looked tired and worn down for most of the game, and just got beat by a team hungrier than they were. The injuries and the brutal schedule finally caught up with them. The week off couldn't come at a better time. I think they go 2-1 down the final 3 game stretch to end up 8-4 which is MUCH better than any on here predicted, including me, before the season started. Disappointed? Yes. Still believe they bounce back strong from this loss, ... Absolutely!!!
October 29, 200718 yr 2 of Woodson's ints were when the game was out of reach. It didnt help the defense that Micah Johnson, Paul Warford, and Marcus McLinton was out. The fumbles and sacks are inexcusable. The players on the field did not play up to the level that was needed. The injuries decreased the margin of error and Miss St stuck it to us. There is an excuse for this one... looks down from this view.
