Mississippi State 31 Kentucky 14

The good thing for me was that I was able to sit on the 3rd row after halftime due to alot of fans leaving early.

I thought that didn't happen in Lexington. :sssh:

Well it did today. Alot of terrible attitudes and giving up by " us " fans.

I would want to give up to after a 31-14 loss to Miss. State.

Really?
Really?

Yeah. A team that's among the worst in the SEC at home a game you should win, and you lose 31-14. How do you put up 40 against UofL, over 40 against LSU, and over 35 against UF but you have just 14 against Miss. State.

At best, UK ends at 7-5, but probably at 6-6 and duking it out for the Music City Bowl or Independence Bowl. MCB committee LOVES UK, so I see Nashville in the 'Cats future.

Looks about right.

I just love your optimism after one bad game. The 18% is slowly, but surely making it's way over to the football team.

Playing two straight emotionally charged games, takes a lot of mental focus and UK didn't have any today, that I saw.

Give Miss. State the credit, as they played well and took advantage of UK's miscues and 6 turnovers, will stop any team. UK looked bad, in many areas today and it appeared Coach Brooks, wasn't very happy.

Sometimes you strap the gear on and the other team was better, today Miss. State was better.

Call me naive, but I've never left a game early in my life, regardless of how bad my team plays. I cheer until the clock reads 0:00.
Man...Talk about excuses in this one....

Pointing out that your team played bad, and looked drained is not making excuses, blaming the game on a bad call, or a bad season on a new coach, is making excuses.:sssh:

The old cats just had to make a showing. it was just like old times at Commonwealth Stadium today

The SEC once again proves that it is by far the toughest conference in college football!

So if OSU loses to PSU (who isn't a cellar dweller like Miss St) tonight you'd say that it proves how weak the Big 10 is, but if UK gets it handed to them by Miss. St. it proves how strong the SEC is?

Just an uninspired effort today. Its very difficult to keep the intensity at a championship level every week. You just hope that you are good enough to win on the weeks when you arent hitting on all cylinders. KY obviously isnt at that point yet but I still cant give up on them. I have seen a many, many more positives than negatives this season. I picked them at 7-5 before the season started, so, for me, anything over that is gravy to me. Lets all keep the faith a little whils longer!!

You should really be rooting for UK to win out. It would make the Cards loss to them not so unseemly. Oh and might help their ratings.:thumb:
