Yeah 3 catches all game. I mean if he is our "best" receiver you would think he would have more than that. Or that maybe he could have got open at the end of the game like we needed him to. I mean I think we seen today that one of the reasons why Johnson is always open at the end of games, because peoples best corners are on Burton. Yet today when the best was on Johnson he was not able to get open anymore at end of games like usual...

 

Yeah I remember those games, but I bet you UL was alot more worried about Burton in that situation than Johnson. If Johnson was the best receiver, I sure UL would have definitely made sure he didn't get as wide open as he did...Then the LSU game yeah he did great...I mean just look at it, Burton has been laying with a hurt ankle all year and getting doubled team weekly, and still had the same numbers as Johnson going into this game...

Did you know who Steve Johnson was last year?? That's why they didn't worry about him. He has been prob. the biggest surprise in the SEC this year. If UofL had known he was going to do this, then yes they would have been veryyyy worried about him.

UK looked bad today they turned the ball over way to much. The o-line gave up way too many sacks and Woodson was running for his life almost every time he dropped back to pass. They also called too many run plays when they were getting stuffed more than half the time.

Who on here said UK was on top five team and was going to win out?

I'd take that in a heartbeat. I think its looking more like Music City or Liberty.

With the SEC schedule so unforgiving, this season could turn ugly if Kentucky doesn't come together.

 

This team has been mentally tough all year, I hope they can bounce back.

The Cats deserved this loss they played like the team from 3 yrs ago. Brooks better go back and look at the defensive scheme again. Glad to have a off week to get some guys healthy.

Burton was the big guy last year. If Burton was like Johnson, and Johnson was like Burton it would be the other way around. People know who KB is, people still wonder who SJ is.

UK needed the bye week to be this week. You just can't go USC, LSU, and Florida and expect to come away from those line of teams healthy.

Very ugly. I figured the Cats would struggle today, but I didn't think it would be that ugly.

In 3 of the last 4 weeks Mississippi State had USC, UT and WVU...

Bad weather, bad play-calling, bad performance, no enthusiasm. Embarrassing to say the least. Very disappointing.
