LRCW Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 A very disappointing loss for Kentucky. The Bulldogs dominated the Cats up front all day, and the Cats couldn't get their offense untracked. Kentucky also had 6 turnovers which really hurt. The Wildcats need the bye week in a huge way.
Habib Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Well, that looked like the Kentucky team I grew up watching.
BigBlueFreak Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 UK will more than likely drop out of the Top 25 with this loss and Woodson's ticket to New York just went to Ryan's wife.

lionfan13 Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Kentucky looks to be ready to field the "All Red Cross" team. Injuries have been a killer.
stick1 Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Tough loss for the Cats. I tip my hat to Miss St on a huge win. KY's injuries finally caught up. When you get down to your 5th string RB you are seriously banged up! No time to fell sorry for ourselves. We have some great opportunities ahead of us to pick up some major wins. I totally believe in the players and coaches at UK this year. Lot's of opportunity left, I hope we meet the challenge ahead!
futurecoach Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 69 yards on 3 catches and 2 TD's isn't a bad stat line if you ask me. I know he is no Burton but he is still a very good WR. Maybe not the best to some of you, but IMO he is. Remember the UofL game?? or the LSU game?? So yes, I think he is still. For Buzzer from the update thread before it got closed.. Yeah 3 catches all game. I mean if he is our "best" receiver you would think he would have more than that. Or that maybe he could have got open at the end of the game like we needed him to. I mean I think we seen today that one of the reasons why Johnson is always open at the end of games, because peoples best corners are on Burton. Yet today when the best was on Johnson he was not able to get open anymore at end of games like usual... Yeah I remember those games, but I bet you UL was alot more worried about Burton in that situation than Johnson. If Johnson was the best receiver, I sure UL would have definitely made sure he didn't get as wide open as he did...Then the LSU game yeah he did great...I mean just look at it, Burton has been playing with a hurt ankle all year and getting doubled team weekly, and still had the same numbers as Johnson going into this game...
Bart Fletch Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Who on here said UK was on top five team and was going to win out?
BigBlueFreak Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 I think they can beat Vandy and Tenn. but I don't know about UGA. UGA is hard place to go in and win, BUT so is Arkansas.

lionfan13 Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Maybe the bye week will help with injuries. Any word if R. Little will be back then?

I really like how his teams play, I hope he gets a little more time.
