Isn't this his first year starting and your putting him on there maybe he will be but not right now.

From what I've seen...and what I'm seeing...barring injury, he's a lock!...and TOM GROESHEN absolutely should be mentioned. AND you could argue for ANY of the HHS TB mentioned as the BEST. You just can't be average :dancingpaand run for the Big Blue!!

Tough question for all of the great backs that Danville has had. Most people who have been keeping up with the program for years will say Chris Jones. You also have to throw in Jimmy Baughman and Donnie Redd in the conversation. All GREAT running backs.

Marty Moore was a stud for Highlands too. He could carry a load and be his own blocker.

Those are the ones that came to mind for me at Boyle. To make it an order is speculation at best.

 

I would add Jay Gilliam in the 70's, and agree Matt Quinn the Best overall!

Sheldon Clark's list would consist of quite a few names.

 

Rusty Fletcher & Donnie Webb would deserve to be mentioned, but the best 2 hands down have got to be:

 

*Brad Tiller: (The fastest football player I have ever seen in pads)

 

*Adam Dials: (The best all around back & player to come through Sheldon Clark in a while. He may be alone on this list in the near future)

NewCath- Steve Everson('02).........I just remember him being a workhorse on some not so balanced teams. Imagine what he would've done on NCC's state teams. WOW!! I loved watching this kid.

Somerset has had a few good ones over the years. It would be a toss up for me between a few. All of the Newells over the years have to get some recognition at Somerset and I'm sure there were some before them that I just don't remember or that I am not thinking of.

Pete Venable and James Fletcher are the two I remember.

Raceland: Before start, I know that there will be a few that I will forget, I hope that others from Raceland may post some that they can think of.
