Jim Schue
I think our prom theme was something by Richard Marx not sure of the song title. I'd be willing to bet it was the oh-so-awful "Hold On To The Night."
underarmour
I'm not sure that this was our official theme song... but Pony by Ginuwine was played about 10 times.
Xgrad-JAGdad
We May Never Pass This Way Again was mine.... now that I look back, maybe it was more of a football philosophy than a prom song!
Austydak
I'd be willing to bet it was the oh-so-awful "Hold On To The Night." You are so very right. Now that you say that I remember the name.
ram2003
I'm impressed that half your class had even HEARD of West Side Story...! Ah, you must not forget that Youth Performing Arts School students are also Manual students, and if they aren't aware of West Side Story they probably shouldn't be in YPAS. The Professor
As 1owlsfan will be glad to tell you..I was lucky to be a senior..let alone have a prom...LOL....Proms were stopped at our school probably in the late 60's and didn't resume until..late 80's or early 90's.....Professor or 1owlsfan...am I right?? We didn't have one in 1972. I think we had a banquet and crowned a king and queen, but that was about it. I think it was the '80s before proms were held at Owsley. BTW, the theme song at my graduation was "We've Only Just Begun" by the Carpenters. That's about as close as I can get to a song associated with my senior year. rocks lacrosse
There was a substantial write-in movement for "What's Love Got To Do With It?" but we ended up with "One More Night" by Phil Collins.
Devilman
Something from Styx. Was it the song "The Best of Times" or 'Babe"?
mcpapa
Was it the song "The Best of Times" or 'Babe"? If it was either one, cshs81 has my deep and heartfelt sympathy.

Hatz
Wonderful Tonight - Clapton  That's priceless for a prom. A song about a guy who gets hangover and has his lady help him home. That might describe many a prom if you think about it.
