Theme Song from your Senior Prom?

Featured Replies

I have no clue — I didn't go. I vaguely recall the party afterward, but details are hazy. I do recall embarassing myself at least once or twice, though. Went to my junior prom and found it to be a big waste of time, so me and my buddies instead spent that time winning a softball tournament.

I really can't remember. Now I have to go home and get out the yearbook.

Stairway to Heaven. Ironically, the band didn't know the song.

"Stairway to Heaven"

I honestly don't remember what ours was. I got kicked out of my senior prom before the 2nd dance.

Color My World - Chicago

Memories by Barbara Streisand. I was cool in crushed velvet white tux with black trim, and my platform black shoes with white teardrops stitched in them. The 70's were too much fun.

The story of the oung of our senior prom (or maybe it was Junior prom) kind of ticked me off.

We were given a list of three songs to vote for, but the fools failed to put who the artist was that did each song. So when "Tonight, Tonight" was on the ballot, half of the class assumed it was from West Side Story as opposed to the actual song by Smashing Pumpkins, and therefore passed. So they ended up picking something like "Here's to the Night" by Eve 6 I think. That's an alright song, but Tonight, Tonight by the Pumpkins would've been SO much better IMO.

:thumb: I really didn't cause any trouble. All I have to say is that if Bill Clinton had been president then I not only would had been able to stay but I may have been voted Prom King. :sssh:

Ahhhhhh that they were  I was old enough to know better but young enough not to care. :D

The late 60s and early 70s were my formative years also.

I've had to, on several occasions, use the "do as I say, not as I did" routine.
