Suprise teams in the NFL This Season?

I saw the replay of that this morning. I feel the same way about it with the Lions as well as the Browns, they will not have to make the playoffs to be greatly improved.

Right, I'm not saying the Browns must make the playoffs but finishing 7-9 or 8-8 will be a good improvement to work from.

Jets will be good but that is not a surprise. the real surprise is the will win there division over New England.

Ill say the Giants. Eli and Plaxico should be a good hook up this season. Plus Jacobs at running back (provided he stays healthy), would make that offense solid. Defense....not so much.

San Fran is the easy call but they aren't even going to be surprise because everyone thinks that. :lol: I am going to throw Buffalo out there and Jacksonville too.

 

I like Buffalo, but they have one of the toughest schedules in the NFL this year. That scared me away.

Many are picking San Fran to win the division, or at least make the playoffs...they aren't a surprise team IMO.

 

A team that no one is mentioning and I think could surprise a lot of people is the Vikings. Their schedule isn't a killer, they play in a subpar division, and they have good rushing offense and defense. The killer could be passing offense and defense though since they are unproven in both...
