Campbell County's New Coach????

Featured Replies

Bob Rowe is indeed an excellent coach and tremendous motivator. He fills the JV role perfectly, transitioning the freshmen and underclassmen to the rigors, discipline, and intensity of varsity basketball.

His career path however may be headed in a different direction as he now has his Rank I, will be formally named the Assistant Principal of Brossart High School for the coming school year, and is serving under a principal perhaps a year away from retirement.

On the Willie topic, the comment was only IF, based upon the post by NYRangers that he knew for a fact that Willie had applied and had spoken to the super on two occasions. IF Willie were interested in the job, he would certainly be a viable candidate.

Rowe wouldn't be interested in a baseball coaching position down 27 South?

I just got off the phone with my brother who works at 5/3rd bank in kroger. He said a lady purchased CCHS aparel and then stopped into the bank where a big transaction was made. Well the lady is Mike Codes wife.

Later, They were spotted looking at horse farms near southern Campbell County.

I looked into the airports traveling report and realized a personal plane had been departing and arriving from Codes house out to CCHS. He has obviously secretly meeting the athletic director.

TAKE IT TO THE BANK--- MIKE CODE IS THE NEXT COACH AT CCHS

Hold on Mustang. I said a former Brossart coach with connections to CC and the super Anthony Strong. Did not mention a name. Although Willie would be an awesome choice......doesn't mean and isn't who I was talking about.

Bob Seiter???

They won't be able to offer a good enough position in the school to make him want to go there. He is most likely going to be the next principal at BBHS. Sorry Mustang didn't realize you said that already.

Bob Seiter???

Quite possibly, Bob did a good job back in the Seiter days with Brossart and heard he was moving out near the county. He could be the sleeper.

I've heard a possibility of interest from another ex-catholic school coach/AD a little further north on I-471....

IMO the Camels could use a young, energetic coach that may have something to prove!!!

What's that they say about assuming???
Willie Schlarman is not going anywhere. He is coaching at his alma mater and has some up and coming players in the Soph class as well as a nice group of seniors coming back. Plus the Highlands folks would never let him live it down leaving for CC. Willie has his own taste of 10th region physicality, come and watch one of his practice because from what I hear there are plenty of bloody noses.

As a Willie veteran, I can beleive it. If your not giving him your all everyday, you don't play.

Sullivan would not take this job as he is next in line at Holmes when Henley leaves.

Only if Carr turns it down.

Why would Tim want to leave Holmes for Campbell County when he is next in line for Henley's job? Plus, I would be willing to bet that the Holmes position will be open in a few years.

Has Brad told you he would not take the Holmes job? From what I've heard he is very happy at Scott, and would only leave for 2 places in the 9th region. And yes, Holmes is one of those Schools. So saying someone is next in line is a little premature. Maybe Carr was told the Holmes jobs is his, if and when Henley leaves.

We can only wait and see you gets the Holmes job when it opens up.

It official, Mike Reitz is the new coach at Harrison Co. The story is in the sports section of the online edition of the Cynthiana Democrat. Its at cynthianademocrat.com for those who are interested.

He did indeed move to a new house in farther south in the county just this past weekend. Big school district, bigger opportunities, who knows?
