Campbell County's New Coach????

Featured Replies

Here are some points to ponder:

- After Brother Johns leaving the football program like he did, feelings toward admin. Willie is not in the mix.

- Football field fued leaves anyone from Brossart out.

- If the math and years works out, one of the best coach ever in NKY will be at Campbell next year.

Interesting!

Having the football field "fued" eliminating any candidate from Brossart (that have nothing to do with it) would be ludicrous. The football fued has primarily been waged here on BGP.

Willie Schlarman is not interested in the job.

I can't see Seiter being a viable candidate.

I assume (gets me in trouble) that you are referring to NCC's Ron Dawn as "one of the best coaches ever in NKY" - Agree on the best coaches assessment. Just curious if Dawn is really interested in "starting over" at Campbell County and if pehaps he isn't a bit "past prime" and somewhat removed from the limelight after all of these years in the background.

I really think (my opinion) that the top candidates are in alphabetical order: Brad Carr, Scott Code, and Aric Russell, with Russell having the inside track with head coaching experience and being a Campbell County grad.

Troy Styer (similar qualifications) has been a major success story. I think that the choice of Russell might benefit from that success. If not Russell then Code, he's already in the system and would not create a domino effect.

The timing is probably bad for Brad Carr who I think would have jumped at the job earlier in the year. Carr does have a good situation at Scott - doesn't teach - but seemed interested when it was first rumored that it would open.

We'll just have to wait and see!

Once again I hope Carr does not leave Scott because he has raised the level of play every year he has been there and would be a huge blow to Scott. Carr do all the eagles a favor and stay there for a long while.

All in one word...... wrong

WOW--The Camel faithful's jealousy seems to have no bounds???? Get over it--Bobby Rowe wants no part of Campbell?? Do you really want to get into what's going on "behind the scenes" in the area after the follies of the last several years out Claryville-way???? Hopefully you'll get one of the other BBHS coaches, ex-coaches, ex-players, etc. to come and put some enthusiasm and organization into your programs like Coach Enzweiler?? I'm sure your administration will come up with a good candidate for the hoops' job, and with a little luck win the district next year, with the other programs' losses and your returning talent. Your dreams came true on the football field issue, so maybe now's time to let the dust settle, and let the programs continue to move in their prospective directions!! BBHS is pleased with theirs!!!!!

Athletic operations at Brossart must be working well to allow for so much time to think about other things.

As for the football field issue please make sure to let the principal at Beechwood know where the game is.

Rowe has applied multiple times for CCHS openings (in two sports) and has obviously never gotten the job.....maybe this time if he tries he will succeed.
C-Squared that is totally wrong informtion!!!

BOB ROWE HAS NEVER EVER APPLIED FOR AN OPENING AT CAMPBELL COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL!!!

He was asked to apply for the baseball job several years back, and certainly would have been a viable candidate, but did not apply for the job.

To make a statement like that is totally irresponsible.

Listerman?

Pretty sure the Listermans (Andy, Kevin, and Mike) are not considering this job. Andy is back home from LexCath and looking for a new house here somewhere in the NKY area. But he just got a teaching job (with the hopes of becoming the AD in the future) at Elder (OH).

Kevin, to my knowledge, hasn't applied. Just got a new job at Colerain (OH). Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach.

Mike will either have to be forced out or die for him to leave CovCath. Bottom line is that he won't leave there for quite sometime.

All in one word...... wrong
As well it might be.

I have no inside information nor do I portend to. Anything that I post on this thread is sheer speculation - but I thought that is the purpose of these discussion boards, to offer opinions and discuss the topics.

If you have some inside information you might consider sharing it. If not, why knock those of us who do offer our opinions and attempt to create some somewhat intelligent dialogue?

All in one word...... wrong

Interested to hear why this may be considered "wrong"...

Old teacher seems to know what is going on

Then why doesn't he tell us what is going on and why everyone is so wrong.

Hmmm...........Let's see, do I want to work at Elder, Colerain, Covington Catholic, or the local equivalent of New Orleans' politics?? Tough decisions?? :D

NICE BG Green, like nothing like that had ever happened like that at the little school in Alexandria, as you like to refer to it! IE... three football coaches in your first year of football at your school.:ylsuper:

Or just wants people to think he does?? If he does, how about some CONSTRUCTIVE dialogue, instead of just questioning others opinions, offering no solutions of his own?? Sounds like the US Congress!!

Actually it was three in something like the first two weeks?? :D
