Athletic operations at Brossart must be working well to allow for so much time to think about other things.

As for the football field issue please make sure to let the principal at Beechwood know where the game is.[/QUOTE]

Actually things seem to be working well at the moment, as if I'd have a clue??

As for Beechwood, I think they might know the way to Newport Stadium?? Telling them the game's elsewhere, might be the best gameplan this year however!! :D

Got to agree totally with you about the U. S. Congress. What a waste of time for the U. S. taxpayers money.....:D I think he was referring to the new principal at Beechwood when she referred to her former school playing at Paul Brown stadium.......:D

Forgot about that!!

I AM serious about the gameplan suggestion however--I hear BW is loaded and HUGE!! My son's working with a few of their linemen this summer and tells me they're massive!!

Classic

Get the thread back on topic, or it's done.

Old teacher seems to know what is going on

If you believe that, then you and OT are the only people who do....

Really I have no clue who will be the coach at CC. I like Russell though he's a very nice, stand-up guy, who would relate well to the kids and is Alum of CCHS.

From what I'd been hearing a few days ago, I thought Russell was all but in, and he may still be?? Agree he might bring the passion to the team, that sometimes only an alum can bring. It would be interesting to hear who applied, as a large school program like this might bring some out-of-town, or even across the river interest??

I may see him tomorrow and I'll ask if I do.

Any update on this? I would think they would have to make a choice this week. Who would be considered the favorite right now?

Do you think Newport would let Russell out of his contract as it would leave them in a bind.

Also as far as Seiter is concerned school starts in Bellevue the 13th ( I think )so that is going to be an issue as well. IN FACT this will be an issue for any public school person.

One note Ft. Thomas schools start later than anybody (27th or 28th)

Some pretty good names in the hat for this job. Heard from a very reliable source: Schlarmann, Carr, Dawn, Russell, Seiter, Scott Code. They are taking applications through this week. Interviews start next week.

Should be very interesting!

I'd really be surprised if Schlarman left Highlands for the Campbell job. I actually believe he's at his dream job in Fort Thomas. He'll get the right athletes through there eventually and he'll make some noise.

If he did apply for this job, I don't see how Campbell Co. could pass him up. He's probably the best of all the candidates resume wise.

I'll agree with you on that one LC. Willie would be a great addition to the Camel clan. This could be the biggest hire for Camel basketball in a long time. Hopefully the powers that be will make the right choice if indeed all of these fine coaches have thrown their hats into the ring.

I'd be surprised as well but I will say this. If Willie is interested and applies and if he gets the gig. Highlands should offer the head job to Code (Current Brossart coach). I rank him up there with the best and he gets the most out of his players. Having a teaching job already at Highlands makes this an obvious choice for the administration pending Willie leaves.

However, I doubt he goes anywhere.

All pretty good candidates....I had heard from a source that Carr had not actually applied but that was first part of last week.
