August 29, 200719 yr I was just going to post that. Per Lance: If Lance agrees with me, I must be wrong. A three game swing in one night.........from possibly 5 games out and throwing Harang on Wednesday, to being swept and falling 8 games out. 8 out with 30 to go....the fat lady is warming up. Did Jerry Narron manage the doubleheader? Let me get this straight...for the biggest series of the season: Jason Ellision starts in LF in game one? No Hamilton in either game because they threw lefties? No Jr in game two? No Dunn in game one? Did they not have days off Monday?
August 29, 200719 yr Thanks Lance...I said it before the game too. You're riding that wave and you had a day off, i'm sorry I don't agree.

August 29, 200719 yr The "B" team left 13 guys on base. Come on...  Are you agreeing with me?
August 29, 200719 yr   Are you agreeing with me? What do you propose as the "A" team against a junk ball lefty in game one of a long night DH? In your terms the A and B team both sucked tonight...
August 29, 200719 yr Ahh I warned you all that we shouldn't start paying attention to them again, because they did alot better when we were ignoring them... As I told you before, all of us weren't ignoring them. I asked you nicely to stay out of the thread, you ignored me, now look what happened. :irked:

These are Major League baseball players, they had a day off yesterday. There is no reason they couldn't play and try to keep this streak going. This team WAS hot, going against Lefty Grove I would have had them in there. Adam Dunn is 27 years old, he can play two games in one night. Maybe if these guys are tested a little bit we'd all be suprised at how they respond.

I can see Hopper instead of Hamilton, but why sit Dunn who has been an RBI machine lately? I think you had it right too that leaving 13 on base backed up your point.
August 29, 200719 yr WE? Pardon me? I've been following every night all season. I do agree that the bandwagon Reds fans should once again jump ship. Some of us were having a lot of fun... :thumb: :sssh:
August 29, 200719 yr Very bad night for the Reds. I agree Major League players should want to play everyday, especially yesterday when it was so important. I was all for bringing Pete back, but not now.
August 29, 200719 yr Was I the only one that was waiting for Dunn to get the big hit in game 1 and Griffey to get it in game 2? I thought, "if this team wants to make a run, they need to come back in games like this"...twice...
