Sorry it was really cool Burrow was there when they both came into to sign their new contracts, and they all hugged each other and just looked very happy to still all be together.

The longer we go and don't hear about Hendrickson moving to a new team leads you to believe he will be in Cincinnati for the 2025 season.  Question is, at what cost?  Certainly not what people thought he was worth.

Ok so they forced the Browns to spend top dollar on WRs, got them out of their comfort zone. What about the offensive line? Joes been doing ballet every game since he’s been the starter.

O-Line & Defense has to be all they go for in the draft, right?

Who knows anything about the recent signing of guard Lucas Patrick? Is he a stud or just fill in material?

At this point, with who was available, I believe he will be a solid one year gap guy. In my opinion it’s about as good as we could have hoped for and should be an improvement over last year.

From Lance McAlister and the Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have signed unrestricted free agent G Lucas Patrick to a one-year contract for the 2025 season.

Patrick (6-3, 313), a ninth-year player out of Duke University, originally was a college free agent signee of Green Bay in 2016. He has played in 107 career regular-season games with 64 starts for the Packers (2017-21), Chicago Bears (’22-23) and New Orleans Saints (’24). 

He also has seen action in five postseason contests with three starts for Green Bay.

Patrick spent last season with the New Orleans Saints, starting 10 games. He’s been a consistent starter for the last five seasons, having originally commenced his career with the Green Bay Packers.

There’s going to be a spot for Patrick to both help along the line, having started as a center and guard during his career, so if nothing else, he gives Cincinnati depth at three different spots along the offensive line.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I like what the Bengals have done so far.  From what I've read the Higgins deal is team friendly and gives them an out in two years.  Hendrickson either 1) agrees to any extension the team offers 2) plays the final year of his deal or 3) sits out and makes nothing.  It doesn't look like other teams will meet both his $ nor the Bengals trade demands.  I'd like to see them move on from Pratt, just not sure who would replace him.  Things could change but I still think they go edge or safety in round 1 and guard in round 2 or 3.

I am not unhappy but I want to see more before the draft.
