Lou is a good coach and will land somewhere.  But I agree with him being let go.  The defense was consistently mediocre with flashes of really good play.  That side of the ball here needs a new voice.

Wow. So shocking to hear you say that! ?

Wish he had positions listed.

Green is an edge rusher. I looked at four different rankings of players and he is ranked 11, 13, 20 and 21. Those aren't mock drafts predictions. Those are actual rankings of players.

Same, I looked up Green before posting that.  I think a lot of the so called experts think we are all immersed in this stuff as much as they are and they forget we have real lives and need a little help sometimes.

It's tough to find two sources who agree on the Bengals pick.  It seems that every time I read or listen to somebody else, a new name pops up.

Right and why I struggle to invest in it all up until this week.

If I was the Bengals I would draft Campbell at linebacker.

6 picks this weekend, Bengals need to go with 3 defenders and 3 lineman or even 4 defenders and 2 lineman. First round needs to be an impact defensive player like Green, Harmon, or Will Johnson with round 2 being the best OL on the board and go from there. Would love to see them pick up Deone Walker in the 4th if he falls that far.

I'd like to see it, but I think the Cardinals might take him at 16.  I'm fine with Harmon in that case.

I like the idea of trading down in round one for extra picks.   Hoping that Campbell slides to them.  We usually stick and pick in round one.  I would be surprised if that changes this year

I hope we take an edge guy.  Would love to land Pearce or Green.   Top heavy draft for a position of need that should be an immediate starter on the edge and lessen the departure of Trey next year

I believe instead of either of those we go offensive line.  Banks > Zabel > Simmons.

The Bengals took edge rusher Shemar Stewart from Texas A&M. He is very athletic but only had less than 5 sacks a year in his time at A&M.

Terrible pick only 4 sacks.

Not just a year, only 4 sacks total during his whole time in college.

If he figures it out, he has all the tools to be an All Pro. Unfortunately though the same was say about Murphy two years ago too, who also didn’t produce much. With who was available, I would have wanted to see them get someone who has actually produced.
