The word that I feel best fits the Bengals draft is "safe".  Thought they reached in the 1st Round.  But outside that made safe, solid picks.

Bengals seem to have signed some good UDFA that have a chance to make the roster. Jordan Moore, WR from Duke, is an interesting sure handed athlete that can possibly fill the WR 5 or 6 on the roster. The Bengals also signed the best available prospect when the draft ended in Seth McLaughlin, center from Ohio State. With the needs on the O-Line, he is an obvious candidate to make the roster.

That grading system period is a surprise/weird to me.

On the Browns drafting, they have needs at both QB and RB so I can understand them wanting options and hoping one or more of the picks work out.  Someone sort of mentioned it already, the two QBs (with Sanders being the 2nd one) does strike me as odd, the two RBs, not at all.   Here are the Browns' picks:

My thought is if you have a lot of needs drafting two players at two different positions out of 7 slots is strange.  Your logic on the RB's makes sense.   Strange in the AFC North we have 2 teams with top tier QB's and 2 teams whose QB situation is an absolute mess.

Swinging this back to the Bengals, I feel like all we have to do is mostly defend Lamar and we should win the North.

I agree.

Browns got an A plus in their draft same as Ravens. Steelers got an A. Bengals went from drafting immediate help to projects F.

Tony Pike is a Bengals fan but hated their draft. 

grading their draft as F is a lazy take. They don't need a QB or top WRs. Running backs are a dime a dozen as are serviceable WRs. They needed help with getting immediate pressure on the opposing QB and they addressed those concerns. I like the OL from Ohio State, should he stay healthy it is an absolute steal. 

And if anyone actually takes the Browns as a serious contender, they may want to seek some help. Since their second inception they have proved to be nothing but a joke, especially at QB wether it be through injury or just plain bad.
