Why are the Steelers up so high? They don’t have a QB! Vikings QB is unproven! 

I guess I’m glad I don’t drink the Bengals Kool aid. Maybe my formative years of being a fan during the lost decade let’s me see the forest from the trees, but the franchise has shown zero consistency since Paul Brown passed away. Those odds are strictly based on Burrow and Higgins in my opinion, and those guys mean very little if the o-line can’t keep Joe upright, or having to scramble as soon as the ball touches his hands.

I agree the oline needs to be better. With that said as bad the line is, the Bengals were one of the top offenses in the NFL last year. The Bengals failures last year was on the defensive side of the ball. 

Also to be fair the Bengals have 6 teams in front of them with better odds. 5 of those teams have the odds they do solely because of the QB they have. Take the QB off the Chiefs, Ravens, Eagles, Bills and all their odds would be at the bottom half of the NFL.  The only team that really has odds that the QB being gone may not hurt to much is the Lions. However, even then Goff is the perfect QB for their system. So it would hurt them too.

There is no way the Browns will be keeping four QB's on an active roster. Most teams have 2 active, maybe 3 (and those teams usually are terrible or have a starter who is hurt). But keeping 4 QB's on the 53, when you can only dress 46, not happening. 

Flacco or Pickett will be the starter, the other likely gets cut. After that, one of the rookies will make the 53. The other they will try to sneak thru waivers and place on the practice squad (if they are good enough to entertain the thought) but that likely doesn't happen if they both show any type of promise.

One way or another, one of them picks was a waste.

Makes me almost sick to do it.  And maybe I am only chiming in because I like the QB Sanders.  But, I am going to take up for the Browns on this one.  Aren’t most fifth round picks projects?  May or may not be with the team in a year or two. I don’t think it’s a horrible pick talking the two QBs.  Over the last few years having a rookie contract QB unlocks the ability to build a strong roster.  At the rookie pay scale, if either of those two QBs are above average, not elite, in my eyes it would be good enough to justify both picks.  For the record, I would have only drafted one — Sanders.  But based on the spots they were gotten, and the number of picks they had overall.  I don’t mind their overall draft.

I have no issue with taking either quarterback, and by no means am I a NFL GM, but like I said, they will not be carrying four of them. If they do, then they will remain the laughing stock of the league. As far as fifth round picks that is where they usually start turn from definitely gonna make the roster to project.  

Years ago I remember listening to (I believe) Herm Edwards say that your first-third rounders are being drafted to start, unless it is Love-Rodgers situation at QB, your fourth and fifth round guys should be guys that can make the team and help in some way, shape, or form right out of the gate, and around round 6 is when you start really taking projects. 

If Sanders is a project like a lot of the experts suggest, taking him in the 5th is fine. But taking him after taking another QB in the same draft just seemed foolish to me. Just get one or the other. The only time I can remember anything close to this was Washington taking RG3 and then Cousins a few rounds later.

I wasn't even factoring him into this. He will be placed on the PUP List, they'll get a chunk of money back on insurance, and then they will move on.

 

Of the other four: Flacco, Pickett, Gabriel, and Sanders I be shocked if it wasn't only two of them on the 53 man roster come opening week.
