Pulaski County vs. Danville Predictions/Updates (at Centre College)

Pulaski comes into the matchup 0-1 with a lot of momentum from a loss. Coach Burns first game saw them take the lead with 3 minutes left against 2A favorite Beechwood but miss the PAT which proved to be the point that cost them in the end. Pulaski was led with a balanced attack from Kasen Brock and Ethan Idelwine on the ground while Zak Anderson made plays with his arm and his legs. Momentum is high for the Maroons after their showing and they look to get their first win in Coach Burns' new era. 

Meanwhile, Danville is coming off of a 34-7 setback to East Jessamine. Danville hasn’t won a game since November 4th 2022 and things don't look to be trending up. Most saw the East Jess game as their only shot to right the ship this season. I know that Bate has some solid talent in the middle school, but that won't help till a few years down the road. 

Is there anyway Danville can right the ship? Or does Pulaski County get the victory?

I think that Burns and company get their first running clock. I can’t see a team that got pummeled by the one team everyone thought they might beat not getting pummeled by a team that took beechwood to the very edge of defeat. One thing I noticed about PC is they are physical and swarm the ball on defense. I am going PC 45 Danville 6.

This is going to be bad ... the only player that stood out to me last year from Danville is now at Mercer County. I'm predicting Pulaski's JV will take the filed at the half - I'm not sure Danville will even score.

Don't see how the Ads are going to keep up with Pulaski in the trenches.  And Pulaski took arguably the best 2A team to the wire last week.  Ads won't stop the winless streak here.  But I'll still listen to the game anyway!

Pulaski's sophomore tailback Kasen Brock is the real deal! Was extremely impressed with him on Friday versus Beechwood.
