That's my fear.  Boyle has become a juggernaut that shows no signs of slowing down and went undefeated this year while the Ads went 0-11.  Typically Danville could count on its home athletes staying and not going to Boyle but when Clevenger got turfed and not rehired when the job came open that triggered a larger exodus of talent to Boyle.  So now the Danville staff has to find a way to rebuild while keeping the talented kids in the program, which will be no easy task.

With the RPI deciding where you play certain games in the playoffs it’s getting to the point Boyle playing Danville hurts their RPI, which is unfortunate.  Especially with some of the teams in Boyle’s district. 

I think this proves Boyle was the best in the state maybe Corbin was number two. I know that sounds crazy but Corbin did beat FD who split with Trinity.

I don't think it sounds crazy at all.  If you watched the Corbin/Boyle game you'd believe there is a strong case for them being the 2nd best in KY.

It's a good point, but I get the sense from Boyle people that they have so much confidence in themselves that they will just schedule whoever they want and just deal with the RPI ramifications. The community of Danville shows out for that game like no other regardless of the expected outcome.

Off the top of my head I know that Tavey starts at Safety. Demuariah Brown and Sage Dawson start at both CB spots, and Avery Bodner starts at LB. 

So happy for these Boyle kids.  People don’t realize just how much of a commitment it is to be a Boyle County Rebel.  The underclassmen will start all over in an about 5 weeks for 2024.  Football  in Titletown is almost a year around sport.  I say congratulations to the senior class and the rest of the team enjoy the rest of December and come out hungry for #13 on January 1!  #Rebel4Life #WhoYaWith

You said they’ll start all over again in about 5 weeks. Some schools up in NKY were right back to it the following Monday. Do the majority of schools give the team off until after Christmas break, or is it ASAP? We were always off until after Xmas break, the weight rom was open but certainly not mandatory.

The issue may become what about the boys who grew up attending elementary and middle school at Boyle yet will not get a chance to play due to that influx
