With the RPI deciding where you play certain games in the playoffs it’s getting to the point Boyle playing Danville hurts their RPI, which is unfortunate. Especially with some of the teams in Boyle’s district.

I agree on the RPI. They put too much weight on playing any 6A school. There are some 2,3,4 and 5A schools that are much better competition but you get less credit on RPI for playing them than a 1 or 2 win 6A school.

You are correct. He may want to be a head coach one day but I can tell you he is happy with teaching and coaching at Boyle County.

It could happen again next year when they move to 4A.

Not sure who compiled this list but I see some kids not on there that definitely should be.

First trip for me to Central. What kind of facilities do they have. Also, I want Boyle to win to hopefully have another shot at Lex Catholic and move on in the playoffs.

I have watched both teams and I can say without a doubt Garrard will NEVER win if they throw the ball 5 times tonight. They may break a few runs but will not be able to score on boyle defense by strictly by the run. I believe Garrard will have to score 50 to beat Boyle and that IMO will not happen. Good luck to both teams tonight.

Try before 8:30, if the game starts at 7:30. Way to much talent for Lincoln to overcome in this one.

My point is.....your best player should be used as that. Coach Perry is a great coach and will get the most out of his players and program but their schedule has some quality opponents this year that will dictate that their offense be more wide open.

First, I never said the offense had anything to do with the loss Friday night.....please read my post again. Secondly, he had 9 rushing attempts for 75 yards and one run was for a 50 yard touchdown. Finally, he was 1 of 5 passing for 6 yards. Don't think he was doing to much scrambling to get his other 25 rushing yards. So let me make myself clear........IMO, they will need to pass the ball more to have a successful SEASON....especially in their district games and playoffs. Thanks!!

There are no guarantee wins in sports now days. However Garrard will have to get their QB more involved than just handing the ball off if they are to have a successful season.......and of course you HAVE to throw the ball too!!!!!!

I appreciate your service to our country but you should expect some backlash when you make bold statements like some that were made before the game. As far as the game.....it was a good hard fought game by both teams but both teams have things to work on to be able to advance to Bowling Green in December.

Agree 1000%. You just can't explain it to people that haven't experienced it.

PP, The reason there wasn't much talk about the Garrard/Bourbon game was the last four games the score was a combined 119-16, so no matter what people say on here there still was some doubt in their mind they could win the game. The people of Garrard County should thank Chuck Smith for taking the Boyle County job because it would have been the same song and dance at Garrard this year if Coach Smith had stayed at Madison Central. With that being said......the "hide and watch" mentality shouldn't come into play when you have a quality coach running your program. People need to realize most of the same kids are playing this year that played last year......the difference is they have a coach that knows how to coach and demands and gets the repect from the kids. I've watched most of these kids grow up and I'm so glad they are once again having fun playing football and becoming men.

If he isnt coachable then Coach Adams won't play him. IMO They would be a good team without out Bell, so I don't see Coach Adams ruining the team because of someone with a bad attitude. Hope that doesn't become the case because I believe they can be really good if the young man comes in with a good attitude and plays team ball.

If Danville only beat Garrard County by one and what I've been told is Garrard beat them most of the night (except for 40 seconds of the game)..... there is noooooooooooooooooooooooooo way Danville will beat Boyle and DEFINITELY won't put 40 on the board. Jeff Hester would blow a gasket if they scored that much!!!! LOL
