I know the Highlands folks are down after this loss, and frustrated more than anything, but if you go back and watch the film it's alot of positives. They hit the QB for CC hard almost every time he dropped back, and had a lot of positive plays. If the offense decides to stretch the field vertically and get off the field on 3rd and longs they'll be fine all the way to at least the regional final in my opinion. It's just one game and things happen in an emotinally charged environment. 

If these two teams played ten times how would it turn out?  I am thinking about 6 to 4 CCH.

7 to 3 CCH as I will always take the more disciplined team….Highlands has to regain discipline and they could run the table possibly in 5A…

I fully understand what you are saying. I have grandchildren in the school and am mortified at what I see and hear. My children went to HHS, hence some of my grandchildren. I wholeheartedly agree, it starts at the top and needs to have the trickle down effect, just like at home. 
 

I am hoping to see a difference in this week on the gridiron, in the stands and all around. If not, the Administration needs to be addressed. 
 

Thank you for your time to respond to my “rant” in backing me and addressing the situation, as one person cannot be everywhere.

It was my belief that whoever was announcing any game should be impartial towards the game. Unfortunately that wasn't the case last evening. How very disappointing.

To the last bolded comment ~ Highlands' student "FT Film and Broadcast" produced a livestream, so there was another free choice that night was there not? If you wanted Bluebird leaning coverage, it was there for the taking.

Considering the back story of 859's principal, I think his coverage of Cov Cath is remarkably restrained.

Everyone should appreciate the time and effort of 859sports. I think if you talked to them, they don’t pretend they’re perfect. But they do a great job and provide a much needed service. There was a big void in coverage for a long time.

Thanks @Royal Blue for those very kind words!!  Yes, far from perfect, but definitely impartial.  But @Bluebirdbathyou could not be more mistaken about what you've put in this thread and once you figure it out, I would hope to see a retraction.  There were 3 media outlets there that night and two of them have been mentioned here.  I've attached the link to our broadcast archive.  Feel free, anyone feel free to listen/watch and find one word of what you said you heard on our uncut version of the game.  I would say it was probably one of our best and impartial broadcasts ever.  Heck, we had Kevin Listerman, the head boys basketball coach, on camera and microphone.  Not sure who it was and don't care who it was.  But I really care who it wasn't, and it wasn't (859) Sports Radio that said anything even close.  We touched on how bad timing some of the penalties were and they were.  I will openly admit to love for my neighbor and team Captain one of the wreckers of Ridgetop Way Big Ben Reeves because I've known the kid almost his entire life.  If you know you you'll understand why he's easy to love as a person and a player.   But my team of myself, Kevin Connor and Kevin Listerman had an outstanding broadcast that night and nothing came over our airwaves that I would be embarrassed about or be considered partial.  ZERO.  @thegurulistened, he will back me.

@859Radio I would like to hear less about the emails you receive on the broadcasts because I think it keeps your broadcast from getting into a good game flow but I don't know that I have ever thought to myself that you have been biased in your coverage.  I see you as a good Samaritan doing for others with no agenda.
