Don't forget who the manager is.  I'd be shocked if Bell has started the same 8 in the same positions more than a handful of games this year.  He plays matchups and lefty/righty and gets everyone at bats.  I personally think young guys need a day off or two each week to let them observe and recharge.  He will get his shot.  I am surprised that EDLC hasn't played more OF in Louisville though.  

Looking at his minor league stats, it's doesn't look like he has played outfield at all.

I think the fact the he has only played SS and 3B this year is a strong indication as to what the Reds want to do with him.

I assume he had to "tuck and roll" off the bus because I'm sure Louisville didn't want to see him leave!

How fun is it to be a Reds fan right now? Even in one game you can see his flashes of being a star. Had the hardest hit ball and fastest speed home or any Red this season in game one. 

There's a lot of players that are game changers, Elly seems to be an organization changer.  Maybe I'm just living in the moment, but this is one of the most exciting times to be a Reds fan in quite some time.
