I'm hoping this thread lasts for about as long as Votto's career with the Reds did.   De La Cruz appears to be the new heir apparent to replace Votto.  Or atleast that's what I'm hoping happens.  

Heads up play by Elly, but him stealing home is 98% on the pitcher.    He just forgot what was happening for a second.     I'm sure Elly or someone noticed it throughout the game and they took advantage of it, but dude, keep your brain in the game.

You are simplifying the play. Several factors played into it. Much more credit should go to Elly than saying bonehead play by the pitcher. Very smart, well executed play by Elly.

In 29 games he has 40 hits and 16 stolen bases, no one has ever done that to start their career.
