Looking at the 2nd round for Levis, you have the Lions at 34, Seahawks at 37, Raiders at 38, and Titans at 41 that could be in the market for him. I could even see the Pack at 42 taking a look in case the Jordan Love experiment doesn't work out.

I unfortunately keep thinking Jackson Carman with this pick.

This guy checks every Zac Taylor box - leader, smart, loves the game, relentless motor and position versatility.  He is a faster and more athletic Sam Hubbard.  With the 17 game season you have to be 2 deep on the D line.  I think they probably considered Porter and Branch but the drop off in D backs for round 2/3 isn't as great as it is for Edge.

Shefter mentioned last night that Levis fell because a few teams were worried about the toe injury and the others felt he came off as being "too cocky and arrogant" during interviews, despite being on a "bad team".

Those rumors about being cocky and arrogant had been floating around for a couple weeks.

Horrible time to have to be humbled, but he got what he needed.

I don't know if DE is as deep as it may seem. Ossai and Hendrickson are both UFAs after the '24 season. With big contract extensions looming for Burrow, Chase, Higgins, and Wilson; Hendrickson may be a cap casualty and not be on the team in '24. Recently, the Bengals like to draft a year ahead (Dax Hill) so the writing may be on the wall for Hendrickson.

I can't envision the Pack drafting a highly rated QB in case Love doesn't work out before Love even has had a chance to start a game. You gotta give the guy you've already invested first round money in (and traded a HOF QB for) a chance to go into the season as the unquestioned starter. Drafting Levis would put all that into question and create an immediate controversy and not do a whole for Love's confidence. 

Rams might be a great fit for Levis. Back up a proven QB at the end of his career, could be the perfect situation for him.

But I think Rams have other needs that they'll fill first, unfortunately.

Different picture than what I was hearing last night, which was great ability but inconsistent and questionable intensity at times.

It was fascinating listening to the talking heads backtrack after Levi’s dropped out of the first round.  Their 20-20 hindsight is amazing. 
 

“He was always the 4th best qb.”

”There was a drop off after first three, and it’s a tossup between Levi’s and Hooker.”

And my personal favorite “He couldn’t beat out Joe Schmo at Penn State so he transferred to a place where he could play”.

From the "experts" comments I heard pre-draft, Levis was no better than third. It was between him and Richardson for #3. Hooker was the clear #5. 

The talk about Levis being #1 was from a reddit post that people ran with. The reddit poster created the account two weeks ago and closed the account yesterday. Sign of the times. Anyone can create a story and get loads of people to believe it with social media. A ton of lies are truths in people's minds today.
