  • I don't know if DE is as deep as it may seem. Ossai and Hendrickson are both UFAs after the '24 season. With big contract extensions looming for Burrow, Chase, Higgins, and Wilson; Hendrickson may be

I won't disagree with that a bit. I'd still want the cognitive test, but I think we always "hire" what we are comfortable with. Contractor for your house, lawn maintenance, NFL QB, etc. Unfortunately,

I want the data. That said, all I do with the test score is look more closely at the film, interviews, etc. No way that test score by itself overrules the other data. It is like this. If a QB threw a

Two RB's this early seems surprising.

A serviceable RB is probably the easiest position to fill in the NFL.

I heard a lot of chatter today that the Bengals were hoping to get Gibbs at 28.

Will going fall out of the 1st round?

Possible, but not likely. Several of the experts I heard expected 5 QB's in round 1 - Levis and Hendon Hooker being the two not selected yet.

I think the Seahawks might go QB at #20 but they may go with Hooker.

Looking like the Bengals will get a shot at drafting Michael Mayer. The challenge is it looks like some good CB's will be there also.

That's what I thought.

Are the Giants trading ahead of the Bengals to get Michael Mayer?

Nope .... Giants went CB. Were they afraid the Bengals were going to go CB?

And now the Bills are moving up one slot also. They will probably grab Joey Porter Jr. the other highly rated CB that is left.

That is setting the stage even more for Mayer to the Bengals.

This Levis fall is tough to watch. Unless someone trades back up, I don’t see a team to take him in the 1st round.

Yes and no. I find myself laughing every time they show him. Not sure why I am laughing but I am. Maybe all his self hype?

Do you take Mayer with Smith signed and build for the future or take the more pressing need in an edge rusher or DB.

He must have really turned people off in the interview room.

CB Joey Porter Jr is the competition at this point.

WHAT?!?!

DE Myles Murphy? A guy with ??? all around him? When the Bengals have very good depth at DE? Puzzling pick IMO.

This guy better come through or there will be a ton of ticked off Bengals fans. I mean he better be all pro quality.

I unfortunately keep thinking Jackson Carman with this pick.

Maybe the L was for Levis and he was indicating his draft position?
