NFL Draft chatter

If the league allows 3 QBs and the roster expands to 54 for instance, you can mark it down that the number of QBs drafted will increase.  That's my point.  And you won't know until next year,  assuming they decide to make the emergency QB a thing.

Teams are allowed to carry 3 QBs now. None choose to because aside from the rare instance that two QBs go down in a game, the third QB will likely never play. Teams don’t carry 3 QBs because they see more value in carrying an extra O-lineman or DB. Even if the rosters do expand, the third QB won’t be valued enough to expend a draft pick on. It’s better to pick up extra depth at several other positions. 3rd QBs are like kickers…always available and thus usually not worth draft capital, even if the NFL mandates teams to carry 3 QBs.

I disagree.

Panthers take Bryce Young 1st, Texans take CJ Stroud 2nd.

He sure is!

I'm not sure how Levis will be as a pro, but I think Richardson will struggle to get a second contract.

They both will.

Levis sliding isn’t all bad if he falls to a better team like Tennessee or Minnesota.

Outside of the money, lower draft pick means better situation for rookies most of the time.
