I like Skyline and Gold Star but this feels like cheating.

It sounds like Gold Star was taken aback by the change.

Well that confirms it. If you want to get a lot of money out of the Bengals your last name needs to be Brown.

Sounds like it hurt, Gold Star is in it to win it.

I wonder if Joe will have a new take on Skyline.

Whether it's true or not, if the Skyline marketing team is smart they give Burrow a big payday to advertise for them as a Cincy chili convert.

Joe is absolutely right about Skyline being a sauce and not chili. I love Skyline but it isn't chili, it is chili sauce.

The Bengals take Myles Murphy a DE out of Clemson.

Puzzling pick.

I don’t hate it, but it wasn’t what I expected. If you want him you could have moved back again and got more picks.

The Bengals saw what last year was like as far as pass rush, even before Trey was out. DEs we have aren’t getting younger and they found a long athletic dude that fits the Taylor/Lou mold. You can never have enough DE depth in todays game.

I've seen people going on about skip this guy and sign Young this off-season but 1. That’s an if until you do and 2. If he balls out to the point we want him this year, we won’t afford him with extensions we need.

One thing for sure, if anyone thought Mike Brown is still making the picks for the Bengals, that thought was put to rest last night. If Mike Brown is making the picks, Michael Mayer would be a Bengal today.

100%.  I said the same thing last night.

I wanted Mayer, but I can’t blame them for not taking him. With how deep the TE class is this year, it probably was the smart move to try use the first round pick on someone else. Since they probably will still find a talented TE in the second or third round.

Murphy IMO is a more athletic Hubbard. They seem to play the same way, and have high mothers. Murphy is just a lot more athletic.

Did Murphy look a little unsettled by being picked or did I misread that? He was the only pick I watched so I don’t know if there’s more to that story.

Looked happy to me.
