For whatever reason Perine wanted a change, we may never know.

They are saying Williams will most likely miss several games to start the season.  Makes sense for Perine, he gets a chance to start the season as the starter if that is the case.  Perine does not have much competition wise, other than Williams at this moment.  He most likely feels like the chances of playing time are better there in Denver.  If I am him, I most likely make the same move.  He was underutilized in Cincinnati, what would make you think that is going to change.

Well that confirms it. If you want to get a lot of money out of the Bengals your last name needs to be Brown.

Assuming the money was roughly the same I would much rather be on a Super Bowl contender.

From The Denver Post:

How Sean Payton convinced Samaje Perine to join Broncos, embrace backfield partnership with Javonte Williams.

Perine told The Post he and Williams can be a potent duo that runs “physically, straight down your throat”

The article went on to say Perine wasn't sure what the workload would look like between him and Mixon so he put is trust in Payton.

About what I figured.  While Mixon is around, the Bengals will most likely have to go the draft route for a backup.  I just don't see a high quality back willing to come and watch behind Mixon.

I see the following headline about a year from now haha - "Irv Smith Jr. signs multi-year deal with X team; personally thanks Joe Burrow".

From the Cincinnati Bengals on Facebook, Irv Smith Jr. is officially a Bengal!

I heard that the Bengals were starting negotiations today with Burrow for a new contract.

I like Skyline and Gold Star but this feels like cheating.
