  1. That is Conner's loss. Whoever is on that hiring committee or made that decision made a big mistake. The guy is a winner and in my opinion, the best coach in the 9th Region, possibly the state. And Cooper is not my team.
  2. Cooper will be very good again next year and a definite top 10 team for sure. I would imagine them and Newport will be battling it out for the 9th region again. Cov Cath will have some good guard play, but unless they get a transfer will really be missing a big man.
  3. In today's NCAA, with NIL, a team made up of a majority of freshman will not win an NCAA tournament. For example, just look at the UK big men. They got pushed around and manhandled all year. Now put them in a weight room for a couple years and that will be a different story. However, with Cal's philosophy, they are either pushed to the NBA or they transfer to make room for the new freshman coming in. Heck, I could see Big Z being an all-American next year if he puts the work in. Cal is Cal, he will have his favorites (Wagner) and will stick with them through thick and thin, sometimes to the detriment of the team. This team had some major struggles this year and through it all, he still kept Sheppard and Dillingham on the bench to start the game and the 2nd half. I mean, why not switch things up and try something different. Just hard headed and it has gotten old. I used to be upset when UK lost a game and it would be several days before I got over it. Now I could careless. The new UK standard under Cal, the Snake Oil Salesman.
  4. Don't ask the girls to play two games in one day the entire season, then in the biggest game of their life, they are required to. I get the cost to rent Rupp, but just doesn't seem to make sense.
  5. No, NKU does not want to give any of those $8 fees that Ticketmaster charges.
  6. Exactly what I was coming here to say. In that 2nd half, besides Harney, it looked like the rest of the team did not want to be there. Very lethargic.
  7. I don't see how CCH wins this game, unless they shoot really well from 3-point range. I think the Jags have a HUGE rebounding advantage, especially if they can get Miller in foul trouble.
  8. That was not a good game by CCH players or their coaches. Better fix things fast or they will be getting eliminated Sunday. Give Dixie credit, never gave up and came back strong from that 40 point loss. On another note, all this time in between the end of the regular season, districts, region, and state is ridiculous. Hard for a high school kid to keep any rhythm when they play three games in over three weeks. For whoever makes state it will be four games in almost a month.
  9. With Harney playing basketball I would imagine he hasn't participated in any football activities.
  10. UK loses this game and the natives may burn down the city, Calipari has to be feeling the heat. UK has been mediocre at best for a while now and in Lexington, that can only last so long.
  11. That doesn't sound good. I guess the Colonels are lucky in that the post-season is spaced out over a month (which is beyond stupid, but that is for another discussion).
  12. I would have to say when Cooper had McNeil and Kunkel on the same team they had more talent. Other than that, I am not sure.
  13. And out of the 17 times they have played, how many of those has CCH had the better players, probably 15. Yet, every time they play, the game is mucked up and played the way Cooper wants to play. Switch the players around and I could almost guarantee Sully would have at least those 11 wins.
