Losing Bates was expected, but losing Bell too really hurts. It would have been nice to keep one of them. Now I wouldn't be surprised to see them go after the secondary early in the draft again.

I agree and I am glad we drafted the position last year too.

Bates got paid, good for him.

Indeed they did. Replacing both Bell and Bates, and finding 2 new safeties to run a defense with the safeties moving EVERYWHERE is by far Lou Anarumo's hardest task to date. 

 

With Perine gone I wonder if that means the Bengals plan on keeping Mixon.

I love it!

This one hurts, Hayden Hurst was one of my favorite Bengals and I thought he had a great season at a position we are weak at.
