According to some NFL pages, they are the #1 look for Bobby Wagner.

His name is bigger than his game at this point. Give me Germaine Pratt for next year.

Well that confirms it. If you want to get a lot of money out of the Bengals your last name needs to be Brown.

I would rather stick with Pratt period.

After today's report from the NFLPA about how badly the Bengals treat their players and families, I'm not too sure.  Bengals rank #27 out of 32 teams.  They got two "F" and two "D" grades.

I don’t think it will hurt their chances at all. The Bengals aren’t going to break the bank to get top FA’s this year. Since their focus is on keeping their own. The guys they could possibly get is talented possibly aging vets who may be chasing a ring and sign a cheaper one year type of deal. So that report isn’t going to stop that type of player from coming. Like a Bobby Wagner definitely would be in play, if they can’t sign Pratt back.

Not really true. Wagner had a great season last year. Now with that said, I definitely would rather keep Pratt.

I would rather keep Pratt and draft a starting caliber RB and cut Mixon. I know Mixon can probably still go but if we're looking to keep Burrow and them with the contracts they deserve, he is expendable. Robinson and Gibbs can come in and produce just as well with Perine as the 1-2 punch.

I think basically everyone is on board with cutting Mixon. You simply can’t pay him what he is currently making. He will either be cut or will have to take a pay cut.

And when you add a reoccurring character issue (allegedly involving a gun this time) I don't think it makes sense to keep Mixon period.

I'm not entirely sure how the timing of cuts affects everything, but I'm surprised he hasn't been cut yet.

I agree it has to come down to timing and I don't think there is any reason to show your cards before you have to.

Speaking of timing, at least as far as this thread is concerned:

And rumor is he shot at a kid running through his yard with a nerf gun playing nerf wars.  I really hope that is not the case.

It's time for the Bengals to move on from Joe Mixon.

Gosh, I sure hope not, how sad.
