I agree but I don't think the committee will put them at two and three we will see in about 15 hours or so I guess.

The committee will do whatever they can to avoid having them meet in the semis.

I believe so.

I was REALLY wrong about this game.  I thought this was the year Georgia beat Alabama by several touchdowns on their path to the playoffs.  Never doubt Nick Saban!

I can easily see the committee making Alabama the #1 seed and having them face Cincinnati in the semis while Georgia faces Michigan.

I don’t believe they played each other in 2017 until the National title game. In 2017 Georgia played Auburn in the title game, and beat Auburn. Which allowed Bama to slide in to the playoffs with Auburn losing.

Question I heard brought up last night at the UC game by fans around me ... SEC East and Georgia overrated or Bama just that good? 

With that said, I'm still a little surprised by this final. I thought all year that UGA looked like the best team.

With that said, I'm still a little surprised by this final. 

If you recall Georgia's offense struggled week one against Clemson....1 fg....TD on pick six. Clemson is pretty good defensively too. Congratulations to the Bearcats! Long time fan. If they don't get in the CFP a non Power 5 never will. The third quarter was great ......and as a long time official (retired) I think that FUMBLE recovery should have stood.

I was shocked.

Not so much that Georgia lost, more so that they gave up 41 points.
