Liam McCormack steps in for Moore at safety and intercepted a pass last week and again tonight. He also is the player who chased down Starks to keep him from scoring. And McCormack caught the first TD pass tonight. Great job by him.

The backup running back looks pretty good. ?‍♀️

Thank you. No clue who that is. I don't think he has ever posted in a Beechwood thread before. Pretty sure he is not a Beechwood fan.

Ok my first trip up here and all I can say is first rate team, facility, fans.  I got to meet the AD and very nice and helpful guy. I will be cheering for y’all in State.  Hope we meet again next year, just maybe in Mayfield. But 5 TO in a game this big will get u beat every time.

I will repeat again - Beechwood's defense is just too good. It may have been closer if there were fewer turnovers. Those gave Beechwood a short field. If Mayfield punts and makes Beechwood drive 60 or 70 yards instead of 40, that would help keep it closer. But then again, Beechwood took their pedal off the gas in the 3rd quarter when they got the running clock. I would say Beechwood is a solid 3 TD's better than Mayfield this year.

No way. They were really undersized on the o and d line. I couldn’t believe how small Mayfields linemen were. Some really strong skill position players for sure, but so outmatched in the trenches they couldn’t get anything going.

I was chatting with some Mayfield fans while waiting in the coffee line. They had to drive five hours to get caught in the 75 NB traffic mess in Florence. I hope they get home safely.

Congratulations to both teams. It was a great game and a great night to wear Red and White.

Absolute domination by the tigers on both sides of the football. Tough game ahead for the tigers next week. 

Murray ran into the same thing last year with LCA. Beechwood and LCA are just too much. Never thought Mayfield would get beat that bad though.

Holy Cow!  The wedding I went to had zero WiFi and it was filled with Beechwood fans. We took turns running outside to check the score.  What a great win for the Tigers!  Finally broke the Cardinal curse!
