Team makes the semis and you tell them to go back to 1A…I’m as big a Beechwood fan as any and will tell you that’s delusional. Mayfield is a premier program at 2A and would compete for titles some years in 3A. Great team and program. Bad take!

Congratulations on excellent seasons to both teams. Beechwood was just on a level unlike any that I can remember them being this season. Mayfield has had their seasons like that too and I’m sure they will again.

TP you have been nothing but respectful to me and the Beechwood faithful ever since we started going back and forth on this site. Do we want to beat the hell out of each other in the playoffs? Of course we do but I can promise you that almost all of the Beechwood faithful has the ultimate respect for the Cards.

His son was a pretty good player as well. Thank God we got Brandon Berger’s son. He runs just as hard as his daddy but I don’t think he has his speed.

The dude was definitely trolling. 1A? Heck you guys would have a shot some years in 3A or 4A. Great program and we need fierce rivalries in this environment of lopsided blowouts throughout the state in deep rounds of the playoffs. 

Thank you to the Mayfield fans for the congratulations! Gracious in defeat as you are in victory. Much appreciated and is why I enjoy this rivalry even though my Tigers are way on the short end of it.
