It has appeared all year long that Beechwood and LCA have been on a collusion course to meet in the finals. It will be a rematch of last years 2A championship that was won by Beechwood 24-23 that many considered an upset. Should be a good one.

Until tonight the series was 8-0, the first meeting was in 1995.

Hats off to #14 on Mayfield. That kid took a beating on the defensive side of the ball, and never backed down.

It still amazes me that they won that game! We knocked out their starting Qb but they still managed to find a way to win.

I've heard some big Mayfield fans say the same thing.

You know I went back and read about the game in 19. Everybody was respectfull, no boasting. Beechwood took it on the chin and came back. We will be back also.

????? what am I relaxing about, I don't think I did or said anything, well atleast nort yet though the guy trolling I guess I could take a shot at.  ? Getting beat by 1 to me is much harder than this.  Beechwood left no doubt and I think most knew it was comming, I privately told JB and a couple others it was not likely to be pretty tonight.  We made great strides from last year to this year and we should be in a great spot next year with what we return.  After one like this one just has to tip their hat and hope to see them next year.  Well unless we get demoted to 1A.
