This is another one of those strength of schedule games - like Brossart vs Raceland and Daviess County vs St. X.

Middlesboro's SOS is #24 in 2A. Their record is an illusion and the magic act ends against LCA. A running clock will not surprise me at all.

Yeah, but I expected a cake walk with Owensboro Catholic, and it was tied at halftime.

Larry French has done a wonderful job at Middlesboro but believe this is the end of the road.  Larry gets my vote for 2A coach of the year!

Same on all accounts. The Jackets have been a great story this season and will hopefully build on this and become a consistent force again, but the alarm is about to go off. It's time to wake up.

I could see Middlesboro putting up a fight like OCath did, but LCA's speed always gets loose sooner or later. Too much to contain for four quarters.

Don't underestimate Larry French. He's the number 3 winningest head coach of all time for a reason. I think LCA wins by a couple of scores but I certainly don't think it will be a running clock by halftime. I think it'll be similar to OCath as well. They will fight for a while and eventually wear out. Good luck to both teams!

Coach French should be coach of the year in 2A but LCA names the score. Excited to see the Eagles next week in Lexington.

According to Twitter, game is moved/ played at Dunbar HS due to field condition and weather. Do both teams have to agree with that move?
