Coach Scroggins in serious covid fight at hospital. Prayers needed! ???

It got a little worse last week and his oxygen level dropped and he went to the hospital here. He didn’t get better. Now he’s getting different treatment in Lexington.

“We just ask for people to pray for him and send positive thoughts his way. Ty is a fighter. Just pray that he keeps fighting and comes out of this.”

Just want to stress this note about Coach Scroggins.   Until 2007, Zero... None. Zilch... ZERO African American Coaches had won a KY State Football Championship. Scroggins was the first

From an outside perspective, the historical relationship between St. Xavier and Central has always been something to treasure. You can see that connection was still strong with Scroggins and Glaser.

Coached with Ty a few years at Doss.  He's a good man.  Praying he pulls through this.

Pegasus Sports had the distinct pleasure of calling a few Central games on behalf of the Yellowjacket faithful, at Coach Scroggins' request, a few years back.   Fantastic coach and a good person.

Prayers coming your way, Coach!    Get well soon!   Thinking of you in Oldham County.

I’ve heard Coach Scroggins has passed. Very unfortunate for a great guy. Left a huge impact in high school football.
