ATLCat
Heartbreaking. A man who changed Louisville and Kentucky football and left a mighty legacy gone too early. A true leader and a man who made a massive positive impact on so many.

You can see that connection was still strong with Scroggins and Glaser.
Purple88
RIP Coach Scroggns. You will be missed. Tragic to lose such a positive influence for young people at such a young age.
Unrivaled97
This one hurts. I started coaching at Doss fresh out of college. Ty was our defensive coordinator. I always appreciated how he treated me & how he took the time to ask what I thought about certain schemes & alignments, and then take the time to show me the right way to think about those situations. I have a lot of good memories of Ty. He was a good man & will be missed by so many he impacted. To this day, coaching little league, middle school or whatever, when doing the defensive line get off drills, I still start the cadence the same way, “Red 8, Red 8”, which I got from Ty.
ColonelMike
Truly sorry to hear this. Another tragic story left in the wake of COVID. A tremendous coach, and a wonderful person in all my dealings with him. Was so focused on promoting his school when he was at Central. I considered it an honor when he asked Pegasus to come broadcast some Central football in the playoffs. RIP, coach. KY Football will miss your touch.
