Multiple local FedEX drivers saying they were given paperwork this morning to allow them to cross the Ohio/Kentucky/West Virginia borders for deliveries. The lockdown is coming.

Edit: Marathon employees are also receiving packets allowing them to travel to work.

It was $1.60 something last night at both the Meijer and Hucks in front of my neighborhood in Owensboro.

If I needed some Go Go Juice that would be great news!

Some ATT stores are closing or already closed. The one in Lexington will stay in operation due to number of government contracts managed out of store. Rules when in the store - only 2 people in a group. If not enough reps to engage people or groups then name added to list and told to leave store until called.

For some reason a doctor told extremely exaggerated story of the ICU he works in. H did this via a "private" message but it went viral. He claimed it was filled with young people on ventilators. The hospital was forced to publicly address this.

It seems to point out how inaccurate stories can circulate - that even come from supposedly good sources.

Beaumont doctor exaggerates hospital conditions during coronavirus outbreak; health organization responds

The question would seem to be why would he spread this story even in a private message.

One of the early low estimates had the US at 10k cases by the end of the month. We’ve blown past this now at 24k with 10 days to go.

Kentucky with 87 new cases today. Coming into today the total was 48.

Among the latest cases, a 32 year old man from Kenton County.

87 total cases, rather than new ones.

And we still aren’t testing efficiently.

The increasing numbers were certainly expected.

Thanks for clarifying.

The coronavirus rescued UK fans from watching the Laettner game this afternoon. Local 12 chose to stop airing the game with 8 minutes left to show the Kentucky virus update.

That’s interesting. Is that info straight from a FedEx employee? Because I got some friend of a friend info supposedly from the military that ended up being bogus.

The info I can confirm is straight from a good friend of mine who is a Marathon employee, I called him after I had heard the "rumor" about FedEX employees getting a packet. He told me it was actually a letter and he got it on Thursday.

For what it's worth he said they told them that it's just a precautionary thing so that everyone has the paperwork to travel to work if something like that did happen, but there were no plans of that mentioned at this time.
