John Anthony
Help will happen in the next day and the markets will respond positively. That’s what I’m hoping for as well.
ChickenWyngz
The most frustrating thing for me is a well known individual testing positive for the virus and then coming out publicly to say they were completely asymptomatic and have no idea where they may have contracted the virus. People across the nation (that are/have been sick) are begging for tests and can’t get it, but one was administered there on a whim. At least when the entire LA Lakers team was tested they had been in contact with players known to be infected. This info is equally frustrating/concerning in the reminder that some people have it and are totally asymptomatic. Scary... I’ve done the stopping for my elderly grandfather. How am I 100% sure I’m not taking it to him if I may not show signs of sickness!?
coldweatherfan
In some nice to hear news. Harbor Freight is donating their entire inventory of masks and latex gloves directly to hospitals providing 24 hour care. View in Browser HARBOR FREIGHT Dear Harbor Freight Community, As we’ve been following the news over the last few days, we’ve heard about the severe shortage of protective gear for hospitals, healthcare workers and first responders as the impact of COVID-19 is being felt across the country. America depends on these heroes every day and in the days ahead we will depend on them even more. At Harbor Freight, we want them to know that they can depend on us too. So we’ve decided to donate our entire supply of the personal protective equipment items listed below to front line hospitals with 24 hour emergency rooms in the communities served by our stores. • N95 Masks • Face Shields • 5 and 7 mil Nitrile Gloves If you work at a hospital with a 24 hour emergency room in need of these items, please ask the office in charge of procurement at your hospital to click here so they can provide us with the information we’ll need to determine if we can make a donation. If you’re not with a hospital, but would like to give us the name of a hospital with a 24 hour emergency room in your community that might need our help, please email us at hospitalhelp@harborfreight.com, identify the hospital’s city and state in the subject line, and our team will follow-up. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE REQUESTS AT YOUR LOCAL STORE OR OUR CALL CENTER AND PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT HOSPITALS—THEY’RE BUSY HELPING THEIR PATIENTS. For hospitals we’re able to help, we’ll email them a voucher when the supplies are available for pick up at their local Harbor Freight Tools store. Although we certainly won’t have enough of these supplies to fill everyone’s needs, we’re going to donate everything we’ve got. We also recognize that there are so many other critically important people responding to this crisis and that there is need everywhere. We’ve chosen to focus our efforts on hospitals with a 24 hour emergency room with the hope that we can help as many people as possible right now. Thank you and God Bless, Eric Smidt Owner and Founder Harbor Freight Tools This is the link where it says click here. PurplePride92
Iceland is reporting that half of their positive tests showed no signs of symptoms. Do we have data like that for the US?

My guess is most people who have been tested here (unless you are in the NBA) have showed symptoms.
Voice of Reason
My guess is most people who have been tested here (unless you are in the NBA) have showed symptoms. The average American is not being tested unless they show symptoms. St. Elizabeth in N. Ky. said last week that you need to actually show symptoms for a week or be deteriorating in symptoms to be tested.

Beechwoodfan
I saw on the news that several boxes of face masks were stolen from the hospital they were intended for and showed up on Craig’s List. I hope there are extra special legal charges, and a special place in hell for whoever did that.

CincySportsFan
So, in Kentucky we're being very stingy on who we give the tests to, saying you have to show symptoms for a week to get the test. But, after we do the tests...only 1 out of 15 come back positive? I almost think you'd have better odds of finding infected people if you just pulled 15 random people.
