Rationally, I’ll take CovCath to the tune of 35-7. But, of course, as has been said many times in this thread, it’s a rivalry game on the road. The Colonels need to not get ahead of themselves or some crazy things may happen.

On a side note, I plan on making the trip from Louisville to this game. As someone who very rarely drives through NKY, can any locals give me some advice on when to arrive? Parking?

CovCath at Highlands has been known to sell out. I would suggest arriving early. Parking is always an adventure. In my opinion, your best best is to just find a place on a local street and walk it in.

Should be CC huge.

CC 42-0

Cov Cath should win 50-0. I hope Highlands uses this to their advantage. Highlands should play and coach like they have nothing to lose, because they don’t have anything to lose. Might as well have fun, be loose and smack them in the mouth at 100%. South Carolina beat Georgia at their house this weekend with a third string QB. Football is funny sometimes when it’s a sure thing.

I think Highlands will put up a better fight than most people think but in the end I think Catholic wins by a couple scores.

Covington Catholic is going to have a first ever "coaches show" tomorrow afternoon. The Colonel Athletic Network's play-by-play announcer, Paul Fritschner, is going to be broadcasting on Mixlr tomorrow at noon with Coach Eviston. Here's a link to the channel if you're interested in checking it out. And if you miss it live, you can click on "showreel items" and listen to the recording.

That looks nothing like Paul.

That looks nothing like Paul.

I thought it was a decent likeness of him, although there might have been a couple of liberties taken with the friendly muttonchops...

This thread is about the Highlands vs. Covington Catholic game only.

CovCath folks expect a 4 quarter, one possession game because they know they will get Highlands best of the season by far, and it is in Ft. Thomas. There has been no celebrating this week for CCH coming off last week’s big demolition of a Ohio Power. They expect a war, and so do I.

Just to let everyone know Mark Wehry and Kevin Connor will be live on (859) Sports Radio at Highlands Friday night when the Colonels visit Ft. Thomas. Get the popcorn ready!!!!! Click here.

Will Highlands have this on their Youtube station?

Senior night for the Birds. I know they are going to leave it all out on the field win-lose-draw. They are ready for a battle as I'm sure CCH is.

Ding that bell boys, It's go time!
