I just think it's funny, you always act as if UofL gets disrespected by everyone that isn't a UofL fan, and it's just not the case. The simple truth is that the majority of the people on here just don't care that much.

Actually I said earlier that I didn't think that either one of these teams was a legit top 5 team. They're both flawed--its just that I have a hard time thinking that a team that is ranked #5 in the BCS (I don't even want to get into what a joke that whole system is but since its here we have to use it) and would own wins against two top 15 BCS teams would be on the outside looking in against a team that has a loss, SEC or not. Actually the media and coaches are a lot smarter than the BCS computer--they are for a playoff, but that's another thread.

November 3, 200619 yr Deuce, not to rain on your parade--like I said earlier it was truly a landmark win--but what about Louisville's run defense. Earlier when someone said that White and Slayton would both rush for 100 yards you said "It ain't happening." Is WVU simply that good or did UL build up its defensive stats against bad rushing teams? Their offense and special teams were good tonight but I can't see a team that tackles like that beating OSU or Michigan in a title game.

Few teams are going to stop the WVU's offense.
November 3, 200619 yr Pat White got a lot of heat before this game about his passing. But he finished 13-20 for 222 yds. Not too bad. Especially when you consider that he added another 125 yds. and 4 TD's on the ground. He is much more effective than he is given credit for. That being said I think that he will play on Sundays just not as a QB.

If the Cards had lost, I don't care if it would have been 4 am Christmas morning, there would be at least 6 or 7 pages worth of certain UK fans posting with glee.

Thank you...For me to sit here and act like UL's run defense was stellar tonight would just be foolish. But you find me a team that is going to completely shut down WVU's rushing game...IMO, you wont find one.
