What was he 29-36 354yds? I agree, I was talking to a friend of mine on XBOX from Baltimore,.... I told him "That kid smoked us in high school, he's a stud". He just laughed and said he was certainly good, but it is a neat thing. Especially sense it's an in state school it's just neat for them to be performing like they have.
November 3, 200619 yr Pat White got a lot of heat before this game about his passing. But he finished 13-20 for 222 yds. Not too bad. Especially when you consider that he added another 125 yds. and 4 TD's on the ground. He is much more effective than he is given credit for. That being said I think that he will play on Sundays just not as a QB. I think you're kinda right, the kid's solid and perhaps isn't given is much credit as the Troy Smith's, Vince Young's, or Mike Vick's, but it could be the program he's playing for, I'm not really sure.
November 3, 200619 yr Thank you...For me to sit here and act like UL's run defense was stellar tonight would just be foolish. But you find me a team that is going to completely shut down WVU's rushing game...IMO, you wont find one. Certainly not with the offense to score on their D like UofL did, atleast not this year.
November 3, 200619 yr I agree to an extent with your assesment of UofL's poor tackling in the first half, however they did correct their problems for the most part in the second half. Now on a side note, those kids from WV were flat out quick and just full of talent. I'd watched them play and win with good O against what I considered not as qualified competition earlier this year, but I'll give it to them they've got some moves that made me yell, and then just flat out drop my jaw. No, UofL continued to stink at tackling the whole game.

Ok you quoted me, and I said nothing about tackling, where is your point? I'm lost:confused: And as for what I'm assuming you meant, sense your quote of what I said made no reference to your post,.... I never said the CARD's tackling was good, I simply said they fixed things enough to win and didn't make WV look like the All Americans they did at times in the first half.... But whatever you say,... all I have to go by is what I can look back on and read in my previous posts.....

November 3, 200619 yr If you ever watched Scooby Doo, The Deuce favors Scrappy Doo as was his nickname all thru middle and high school. He was also a pretty scrappy player on the field. For all of us who have known him forever he will always be Scrappy. Sorry Deuce. Congratulations on the big win. Unlike most UK fans I pull for the Cards in all sports when their not playing the CATS. I guess that's from being stationed in ACC country in the Air Force in the 70's. and the little old state of Ky won the NCAA basketball in 78 and 80 sure was fun to wear out all the ACC fans.

November 3, 200619 yr Speakin' of fans, how'd they get so many tickets to a road game? I know WVU fans are a lot like Steeler fans in that they travel well, but what I saw on TV seemed excessive. And we have to meet, BTW. I'm tired of GT calling out that he saw you on TV and I have no idea who you are. I'll let you know next time I'm visiting my brother. From TV it looked like they had one section, I would assume that's normal allottment(sp) for a visiting team.
