BTW...I dont know if they showed in on TV or not, but my guess would be no...They put it on the JumboTron tonight at the game...A UofL fan had a sign that said, "At least our mascot has teeth." Mean, but darn funny. :lol:

Before this game I really felt like Louisville would not pull it off due to their play over the last couple of weeks.

I mean no disrespect to anyone on here, but I've GOT to say this: Louisville, West Virginia, and Rutgers would ALL have at least two losses if they played in the S.E.C. No one in the Big East conference has beaten a ranked team!! (Louisville's win over Miami doesn't count, since the Canes aren't currently ranked).

 

The winner of the Big East does NOT deserve a shot at the National Title game. If there were a 16-team playoff, then yes, they should be in that field. But a one loss Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, Texas, or USC team would dismantle Louisville. If the Cards want real national respect (not just being the media darlings of those feel-good, basketball-loving journalists) then they should schedule some tough teams.

 

If Louisville played in the S.E.C. or Big Ten, they wouldn't have to worry about BCS rankings. Their main goal would be making it to a bowl game. Louisville is a good team, don't mistake me, but they are a far cry from what a true National Championship caliber team really is.

 

This truth will come out in the bowl game. Whomever the Cards play - especially if it's in a BCS bowl - will expose them as the pretty-on-paper champs of a powder-puff conference that they truly are.

Way to go Cards, gonna be fun the next few weeks.

Just like Georgia did to WVU last year.

Their offense and special teams were good tonight but I can't see a team that tackles like that beating OSU or Michigan in a title game.

Tackling wise...I think that WVU's run offense is much more difficult to grasp than is UM's...not better just harder to get a read on everyone.

What's really cool is watching this game and getting on here and talking about the kid we all talked about in high school for four years, lead a Kentucky team to a potential BCS National Championship game appearance...

19/26.....73% and it could've been a couple even better...he looked awesome in every aspect. His pre-snap reading was fantastic.

Georgia's defense was all that and a bag of chips last year and look what the Mountaineers did to them. Few teams are going to stop the WVU's offense.

I am glad that someone finally stepped up and said this...

Some people need to keep in mind that U of L's offense had run 3 plays with just a about 2:00 left in the 3rd quarter....that defense was on the field a lot, and really had more of a bend don't "completely" break game.
