WOW, I did not expect the Cards to come out and dominate like that! In the second half they turned it on and left West Virginia flat in the dust! Great win for the Cards, and we'll have to see how it plays out.

Thank you...For me to sit here and act like UL's run defense was stellar tonight would just be foolish. But you find me a team that is going to completely shut down WVU's rushing game...IMO, you wont find one.

I think we should talk about the performances of some specific players. Harry Douglass is unstoppable. I don't think there is anyone who can cover him. He had some catches last night that were unreal.

 

Barnidge I don't think had a single catch, which was odd. Also, have I missed something, or has George Stripling been relegated to the doghouse, or is he hurt or what? I only remember seeing him in for one play last night.

 

Defensively we got munched, but I will say this. In the second half, we kept them in front of us. WVU still marched downfield, but they took time off the clock doing it because we kept the receivers in front of us. William Gay I thought played a pretty good ballgame.

Erin looks a lot better interviewing Brian after a big win than I did... :lol:

Impressive win for UL. I think they have put theirself in pretty good shape for a National title appearance. Had the game been ugly with a lot of turnovers on both sides and UL squeaked it out, I dont think UL would be in that good of shape right now. But they looked very good last night and put theirselves in good shape.

Harry Douglas has been watching film of Deion Branch. I'm convinced of it.

 

What a game to be at!

Brohm looked good and had great stats but I think he could have been blind and still passed for 300 yards against that pass defense.He didn't have any pressure and the receivers had no one around them most of the time.His best throw was the TD to the corner of the end zone,that ball was perfect.He looked a little rattled in the first half that one series they got some pressure on him and he threw two balls short and that was it.

Way to go Cards, gonna be fun the next few weeks.
