November 3, 200619 yr And everyone knows that Miami is a hollow shell of the former selves this year. Arguing that a UofL win over Miami is as good as a OSU win over Texas, UM win over ND, or UT win over Cal is comical. I didn't though I think that at home, Louisville would beat Texas, ND, or Cal.

I think so as well...U of L will not have to face a team with that kind of pure speed and athleticism, the rest of the regular season. They were hard to stop, but they did it multiple times as well. They held WVU below their average...WVU didn't do the same.....I hope that U of L stays focused then all I'll have to do is read how weak U of L is, when they are playing in January.

UL is a fine football team, but if they make the national title game, it will be embarrassing. They will get SMACKED by whomever they play. IF they go undefeated they deserve to be there, but it wont be close if they are in it. If they are i nthe title game, that will make a much better case for a playoff system IMO. UL getting smoked for the national title would spark some interesting convo about how Auburn or FLorida would have compared to the champion. IMHO the national title game will not be a BCS game, it will be OSU v Michigan.
November 3, 200619 yr I don't see U of L getting blown out...they are very good...they could lose by 10 to either OSU or Michigan....we'll never know by how much...I perosonally would like to see what Bobby would come up with.... if only Bush were still playing.

If that team is Florida, they will likely be maxed out on Computer rankings, and they would need the humans to help, and many of the humans want two undefeateds. If they end up playing Ohio State for the title they will be playing a team with alot of athleticism and speed, and Im sure you know that as well from the beating our ND team took from them last year...:cry: So I know the humans would want two undefeated teams, but Im not so sure that they would want it to be UL. I think they will see that UL probably wouldn't match up as well to say a OSU as would maybe a Florida or Auburn team. So I think the humans could end up helping out a team like Florida in the polls at the end of the year...

Thank you...For me to sit here and act like UL's run defense was stellar tonight would just be foolish. But you find me a team that is going to completely shut down WVU's rushing game...IMO, you wont find one.
November 3, 200619 yr The Big East is somewhere wayyyy behind them. Yet, still going to be ahead of the SEC in the polls... As a whole, yes, the SEC is probably better than the Big East. But if we're just comparing the top teams in each league, one might be led to think that the BEast can more than hold its own against the SEC. Can't really say much about it this year, because there hasn't been a matchup between the two, but let's look at the Sugar Bowl from last year. And you're arguement that UGA came back and almost won...:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: Almost only counts in horseshoes, and hand grenades...

November 3, 200619 yr Glad to see Brohm and Company get a BIG win! I think OSU is in a league of their own but I think the Cards deserve to be #3 and with Bush #2! Petrino can do whatever he wants from here on out! He has that program as high as you can get a program in KY! Awsome new indoor program, recruits coming in, good confrence that isn't so brutle you don't have a shot at the top, AWSOME offense, great stadium etc I tip my hat to him and Jurich both and it's great to see for the KY boys like Brohm get rewarded for staying home to make their program one of the best. Speaking of staying home and doing great things for their program I ironically spoke to Tim Couch for a little bit tonight:)

I also think that you are not giving near the credit to the athletes that U of L has in its skill positions...I would put them at better than those at both Florida and Auburn.
