Is this the same guy that played for the Celtics? I was at Williamstown a month or so ago for a volleyball Match and see several pictures of a guy that played for the Celtics.

Another Demon, Fred Hale, who holds the 10th highest career points total in the KHSAA record book, was on scholarship to UofL, but appears to have only played on the freshman team according to THIS media guide from 12/15/73. No records of him moving up to the varsity squad.

He's the only D-1 from Owsley that I'm aware of. We've had several good players at other levels. Jeff "Moose" Moore (MVP of the 1990 All "A" Classic State Tournament played at Memorial Coliseum) played for Embry-Riddle University from 1991-1994. He had his jersey retired a few years ago. He's now a United Airlines pilot.

Should of been a D1 player though.
