Runcible Owl
Although not "my school" as the title says. This player who has a birthday today (11-2) is the only person to ever win a championship in the NCAA, NBA, and ABA. Nice! Tom Thacker - Covington Grant HS 1971 - Indiana Pacers, ABA 1968 - Boston Celtics, NBA 1961 & 1962 - Cincinnati, NCAA 1958 & 1959 - Grant HS, KHSAA 9th Region

Woodland
Williamstown Arnie Risen- EKU->Ohio St. There’s another from the late 80s/early 90s, Brian Milburn might have been his name. Finished HS at Russell or somewhere but he ended up at Vandy. I believe Fred Hale played at Williamstown and went on to UofL
Runcible Owl
I believe one of the Hiltz Boys from Covington Catholic was trained by Coach Frederick and he was a walk on at Notre Dame. I think he’s a Blue Angel pilot today. Pretty Special kid. Had a buddy whose son graduated from Covington Catholic and said he gave one of the best speeches he ever heard at graduation. Cool stuff I believe you are talking about Greg Hiltz and if I am not mistaken he went to the US Coast Guard Academy from CCH. I had thought part of John Hiltz's (Cov Cath '98) story was that he was unable to play at Notre Dame. ND's Media Guide however lists him on the "All-Time Roster" and he has a stat page on sports-reference.com. Here are a couple of pieces on John's journey: 'Blue Team' Living Golden Dream :: Notre Dame Men's Basketball :: UND.COM :: The Official Site of ND Athletics Go Irish, Fly Navy // News // Notre Dame Magazine // University of Notre Dame Jim Hiltz (Cov Cath '99), played at the US Coast Guard Academy (DIII). He is still listed as one of the all-time leaders there in several stat categories. Greg Hiltz (Cov Cath '02), also attended Notre Dame, but didn't play there. King of the Bluegrass
Tom Thacker is the ONLY basketball player in history to be on a championship team in the NCAA, NBA Boston Celtics and ABA Indiana Pacers.

SnottieDrippen
I believe Fred Hale played at Williamstown and went on to UofL I was uncertain and had to look him up when I posted that. You are correct, though I don't believe he ever suited up for the varsity Cardinals, or I'm unable to find any evidence he did.

Pi
Was Bracken County a force in the late 30's and early 40's? 3 of those players went D1 during the war. I should have known @brooksville would have already answered this. Those were the glory days. It was Brooksville High at the time, but still the only High school in the county other than Augusta.
